Oberon’s process technology has been developed to create the highest quality, sustainable protein feed ingredient available anywhere and can be beneficially adopted by many food and beverage manufacturers [more about Benefits to Manufacturers].  Under current practice, treatment of water containing dissolved and fine-particulate food processing by-products occurs under conditions that produce waste sludge.  However, by appropriately controlling the conditions of biological treatment, it is possible to generate an SCP product utilizing the entrained by-products as a growth substrate.  In so doing, Oberon’s process also makes efficient use of existing water treatment infrastructure [more on Process].
